Toblerone White Chocolate Bar Review
My recent experience trying the Crispy Coconut Toblerone made me realize something...I'm yet to review the classic, delicious white chocolate Toblerone! So here it is, the review you've all been waiting for...
I found this 100g bar for around 69p in B&M bargains, it's one of the few places to stock the white chocolate variety. You can get them around Christmas time from most supermarkets but the rest of the year it's impossible to get one. It's by far one of the nicest Toblerones around, so why it's not more widely available is a mystery to me...
This comprises of Swiss white chocolate in the classic triangular Toblerone blocks, with honey and almond nougat pieces mixed in.
I do love the design of Toblerone bars...they always feel so much more special than any regular chocolate bar, and it's so satisfying breaking off the triangular chunks to nibble on.
The white chocolate is super sweet and milky, made even sweeter by the honey and nougat. Yet it's quite simply delicious! The almonds bring a nice nutty element, making each piece a mixture of savoury, sweet, crunchy and creamy.
It's actually quite hard to eat too much Toblerone, especially this white chocolate one since it's so sweet. This is a good thing though as it means it's perfect for sharing and there's always more to nibble on later.
Overall, this is a fantastic chocolate bar, one of the better quality white chocolates around and it's a real shame these aren't more widely available. Look out for them at Christmas when the large bars are out in supermarkets!
8.5 out of 10.
Oh, Kev - I'm so sorry you've been missing out for all these years! This has long been my favourite version.
