Flying Tiger Only For Royalties Easter Eggs

Image
If you've ever been to a Flying Tiger store you'll know they're chock full of cool items, from gifts to quirky homeware and more importantly for me...food! They're a Danish company with stores in over 30 countries - to find your nearest one you can check out their website for a store locator. If you've ever been to one please do let me know in the comments! These "Only for Royalties Eggs" were kindly sent to me to review and are available in stores now for £3, they're quirky chocolate hollow eggs themed after Royalty - so perfect for couples! There's a lot of hollow Easter Eggs out there with varying quality, but these seem pretty decent in comparison to some - the chocolate is creamy and melts nicely. Presumably Danish chocolate is a step up from our British stuff! There's no vegetable fat in the ingredients, but please be aware they're made in a factory with wheat and nuts if that's an issue for you. The coloured decoration is ma...

Cadbury Oreo Creme Egg Review

Image
When this new "Oreo Crème Egg" was announced last year everyone got just a wee bit excited. It's not surprising, since the original Crème Egg still reigns supreme as the Number 1 Easter Egg in the UK (although the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs available at Tesco could rival it!). So add to that another popular food item and you've got a winner, right? I was a bit sceptical about how this would work - surely the cookie pieces would get soggy inside the goo? Luckily it didn't take too long to find out - these were available in shops just before Christmas Day, along with a variety of other Easter treats. I swear it gets earlier every year... You can find these in most supermarkets now, and they're particularly prominent in Sainsbury's Express stores. Opening the wrapper, the egg has the classic Crème Egg design, but with a rather prominent section in the middle. I guess these are produced differently to regular Cadbury Crème Eggs. Cutting the top o...

Cadbury Daim Ultimate Easter Egg & More! - Easter Egg Guide 2018

Image
It wouldn't be Easter without a whopping Easter Eggs In Shops post, so without further ado let's crack on...or rather crack the eggs! First up - an Egg everyone will no doubt want this Easter, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Ultimate Daim Egg, which contains crunchy Daim pieces in the shell. There's also a Fruit & Nut variety. Cadbury Dairy Milk "The Purple Egg": Available from Sainsbury's, this egg was simply described as "The Purple Egg" - presumably the colour purple is enough to be associated with Cadbury Dairy Milk! It's simply a milk chocolate egg wrapped in purple foil. Price: £1. Cadbury Dairy Milk Ultimate Chopped Nut Egg: As well as the Daim and Fruit & Nut eggs, Cadbury are doing this Dairy Milk Chopped Nut Egg that is exclusively available in Tesco. Hershey's Cookies N' Creme Eggs: Hershey's now do their delicious Cookies & Cream  chocolate in mini egg form - yay! Spotted in Tesco. Chocolate...
