New! Peanut Hottie Peanut Butter & Chocolate Hot Drink Review

Many thanks to Peanut Hottie for sending me the latest incarnation of their peanut hot drink to review...the new Chocolate Peanut Hottie! When Peanut Hottie first launched a year ago I predicted they would eventually bring out a chocolate version, because as everyone knows chocolate and peanut butter make the perfect combination! The drink is described as "Peanut butter and chocolate flavour instant hot beverage made with real peanuts". You can use 4 teaspoons (or more depending on your peanut butter cravings!) and mix with hot water to produce a frothy, creamy drink. I was a bit greedy and used 5 teaspoons since I couldn't resist making it extra peanutty! The drink was very thick and rich, with a strong peanut flavour, and the chocolate added extra richness making it feel very substantial and filling. Costa's Hot Spiced Apple Drink Review

This is my first review of a product from a national coffee chain, and it's quite appropriate that its Costa as it just so happens to be my favourite! (although I will admit to occasionally flirting with Caffe Nero!) Whilst stopping by there on a freezing cold day recently I fancied something a bit different from hot chocolate and plumped for this Hot Spiced Apple Drink instead. It's part of Costa's Autumn drinks range which also includes their Chocolate Orange Mocha Latte (see review HERE by Foodstuff Finds). It's advertised as "bewitchingly warm, fearfully fruity" to tie-in with Halloween, but I do hope it will stick around into the Winter months! I was very impressed with the presentation - the drink comes in a glass complete with a cinnamon stick and some star anise floating in it.
