New! Peanut Hottie Peanut Butter & Chocolate Hot Drink Review

Many thanks to Peanut Hottie for sending me the latest incarnation of their peanut hot drink to review...the new Chocolate Peanut Hottie! When Peanut Hottie first launched a year ago I predicted they would eventually bring out a chocolate version, because as everyone knows chocolate and peanut butter make the perfect combination!

The drink is described as "Peanut butter and chocolate flavour instant hot beverage made with real peanuts". You can use 4 teaspoons (or more depending on your peanut butter cravings!) and mix with hot water to produce a frothy, creamy drink.

I was a bit greedy and used 5 teaspoons since I couldn't resist making it extra peanutty!

The drink was very thick and rich, with a strong peanut flavour, and the chocolate added extra richness making it feel very substantial and filling. It tasted very moreish, and even nicer than the regular Peanut Hottie in my opinion. Whether you prefer one or the other will depend on if you like peanut butter by itself or with chocolate I guess! Personally I love both but would go for this variety in the Winter months.

Overall, this is a great new flavour from Peanut Hottie and will no doubt be very popular. I look forward to seeing more new flavours from Peanut Hottie in the future!

  2. I tried the original one last year when it came out - hated it, which is weird because I love, love, love peanut butter!! Will have to try this one, hopefully it's much nicer :)
