Recently, Mars UK launched their M&M's bars range as well as Salted Caramel M&M's - what a treat! They're finally giving us more interesting products than they have in previous years. And these bad boys are extremely tasty; in fact I think I liked them more than regular M&Ms for a few reasons. Today's review is for the US version I got from A Taste Of The States - which I presume is the same as the UK one. Look at the block design - isn't it cool! The milk chocolate is smooth and has mini chocolate M&M's and peanuts embedded within, and the M logo on each block plus the M&M character smirking at you! The bar doesn't contain actual Peanut M&M's unfortunately, as I imagine they'd be a bit too big to cram into the block and still have it look all glossy. Amongst some of the sweets I got from A Taste of The States recently were these Dr Pepper Gummy Bottles - a rather unique take on the classic soda bottle sweet! I've never been the biggest Dr Pepper fan I will admit, but I've always appreciated it now and then and I did used to enjoy it mixed with bourbon whisky in particular. The taste is hard to describe but everyone who's tried it knows it well - it reminds me of a marzipan almond type flavour, but super sweet. So how does this work in gummy bottle form? Some snacks from my most recent order were these Haribo Berries and Frogs which are made by the US arm of Haribo. I really enjoyed their Fruit Salad sweets so was excited to try more varieties. These are blackberry and raspberry flavoured and have bobbly sugar pieces over a jelly centre. They’re super duper sweet, but pretty tasty and unique. I loved the contrast between the crunchy outer layer and the gummy inner layer. I couldn’t  eat too many due to the sweetness but they’re certainly a lot of fun! I've had quite a few interesting snacks from A Taste Of The States now, and recently they have started stocking more Australian varieties. The Cadbury Dream we all know and miss was sadly out of stock so I went for a Cadbury Top Deck instead - you know, those bars we used to get in the UK many moons ago? It's a simple combination of a base layer of Dairy Milk and a top layer of Cadbury Dream white chocolate. This may sound pretty standard but it turns out it's a winner! The Dairy Milk layer tastes pretty familiar, although I maintain that Australian Dairy Milk is a little better quality than our UK version. It seems creamier and less waxy. The upper layer of Dream is pretty sweet and creamy and like Dream used to be, and perhaps it's better mixed with Dairy Milk so you get a mix of sweet creaminess and cocoa mingled together.
