Lindt Lindor Strawberries & Cream (Limited Edition) Review

lindt lindor strawberries and cream

I've been itching to try these new Limited Edition Lindor Strawberries and Cream since they first appeared in shops a few weeks ago, and luckily thanks to a slew of recent discounts I couldn't say no - I picked them up for £3 at Sainsbury's, and they're around the £3 mark in other stores too.

They're described as "White chocolate truffles with strawberries and cream and a smooth melting filling", and are basically white chocolate Lindor with added flecks of strawberry and a strawberry truffle centre. The ingredients list both cream and strawberry powder, so these are genuinely made of both strawberries and cream!

Unwrapping one I was met with what can only be described as the smell of strawberry milkshake. This was a good sign!

Cutting it open revealed the slightly pink coloured centre which was quite firm at this point:

Popping a whole one in my mouth I was first met with the creamy white chocolate - it was excellent quality and the cream powder was very evident. As the filling began to melt it released a strawberry milkshake-like flavour - it tasted absolutely delicious, and it wasn't long before I was reaching for another! These were insanely addictive and surprisingly not too sickly for white chocolates.

Overall, these Lindor strawberries and cream are a triumph - the perfect gift for Valentines Day...or scoffing all to yourself! I'll definitely be stocking up on them before they disappear from shelves.

RATING: 9 out of 10.

Price: £3 at Sainsbury's (along with rest of the Lindor range). Also available at Wilkinsons, Morrisons, Tesco.
Suitable for vegetarians?: Doesn't state on packaging.
Allergy Information: Contains milk, soya. May contain nuts.

  1. Ah you beat me to it! I thought I'd done well finding them the day after they were announced for £3.50 in Wilkinson. Made up they seem as good as I hoped though. Don't think I'll be opening mine for a while as my high stock levels mean I have to prioritise best before dates!

  2. I bought these from Tesco the other night and they're gorgeous. They reminded me of the Hello My Name Is Strawberry Cheesecake bar minus the cheesecake taste and white chocolate in place of milk. When I first bit into one the chocolate was a tad crumbly and the filling was firm (probably due to the cold weather) but at room temperature, the filling softened.

  3. I can't wait to try these! I've been searching my local supermarkets for ages but my Sainsburys doesn't have them in yet. Safe to say I'll be picking up a box as soon as I see them.

Thanks Kev A.! This ( what I quoted from your review above ) is exactly what I both wanted to know, & was hoping you would say! See I eat pretty clean all the time, but was treat myself with a " cheat " once in awhile. So I like to make sure I don't waste it on something not worthy, lol. I was nervous I'd get these for Valentine's Day only to be disappointed if they didn't taste as if hoed, Strawberry milkshake is just what I'm hoping for. Can't wait to try them!

    1. Sorry but that was not the reaction to the strawberry and cream truffle by Lindt. I am being honest. Though a delicate strawberry taste had a lingering bitter note and was slightly greasy. Wouldn’t buy it again.
