Cadbury White Chocolate Oreo Bars Review

Image
Recently Asda has relaunched Cadbury White Chocolate, and although it's not the Cadbury Dream in the blue wrappers like we remember, it's pretty tasty. They recently took it a step further, and stuffed it with an Oreo cookie and cream style filling, and it's an amazing creation! Available only in multipacks currently, these are around £1.50 in Asda and consist of curved chunks of white chocolate, with a creamy filling and Oreo pieces. They're extremely sweet, but quite moreish. The white chocolate is standard milky, creamy stuff with the cream filling working well with it and the Oreo cookies balancing out the flavour with some slightly savoury, cocoa biscuit crunch. They're great with a cuppa when you need a sweet snack. But like I said they are very sweet so might not be for everyone unless you have a very sweet tooth! 8.5/10.

Cadbury Oreo Creme Egg Review

Image
When this new "Oreo Crème Egg" was announced last year everyone got just a wee bit excited. It's not surprising, since the original Crème Egg still reigns supreme as the Number 1 Easter Egg in the UK (although the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs available at Tesco could rival it!). So add to that another popular food item and you've got a winner, right? I was a bit sceptical about how this would work - surely the cookie pieces would get soggy inside the goo? Luckily it didn't take too long to find out - these were available in shops just before Christmas Day, along with a variety of other Easter treats. I swear it gets earlier every year... You can find these in most supermarkets now, and they're particularly prominent in Sainsbury's Express stores. Opening the wrapper, the egg has the classic Crème Egg design, but with a rather prominent section in the middle. I guess these are produced differently to regular Cadbury Crème Eggs. Cutting the top o...

New Oreo & Cadbury Joyfills, Oreo Muffins, Skittles Chewies! (Spotted In Shops)

Image
Spotted In Shops is back...hurrah, right?! There's been some rather interesting products released lately so without further ado let's crack on and take a look at them... First up is Mondelez, because of course they can't go more than a few months without releasing another new product. This time they've put Cadbury and Oreo's name on their new "Joyfills" range, which are basically a bit like Krave cereal. The big question is - are they meant to be classed as a cereal or a biscuit? They come in Cadbury Milk Chocolate Creme and Choco Cookie Joyfills... Plus Oreo and Oreo Choco Caramel Creme varieties. Available from The Co Op, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Tesco for between £1 - £1.50 currently. Another Oreo product that isn't quite so new, but looks fantastic are the Oreo Doughnuts pictured above. Spotted at The Co Op. One that is new however are these Oreo Muffins, also in The Co Op for £1. Continuing with the Oreo theme, you can now get...

Oreo Birthday Party - new for the UK!

Image
Just a quick post today as a heads up...Oreo Birthday Party variety is now available in the UK! From Asda specifically, these are on offer for 50p and consist of regular Oreo vanilla creme cookies with sprinkles in the centre. They're pretty much the same thing as Oreo Birthday Cake which have been available as imports for a while, and have been launched to celebrate Oreo's birthday. Have you tried these? Are they as good as Oreo Birthday Cake? Let me know in the comments!
