The Co Op Sparkling Prosecco Bubbles Crisps
The Co Op are really going to town with the festive treats this year. Their Christmas range includes impressive snacks such as Gingerbread Tortilla Rolls (want!), Pigs in Blankets Tortilla Rolls and the yummy sounding Cheese Board Crisps . They've also jumped onto the Prosecco bandwagon with these intriguing "Sparkling Prosecco Bubbles". Described as "Light and tasty potato snacks that pop in your mouth, with a hint of fizz flavour" these cost £1 in The Co Op and contain real Prosecco powder. They're shaped like spheres (or bubbles?) with little gaps in, supposedly like the bubbles in a glass of Prosecco? Nice to see that some thought has gone into making them, well done Co Op! Now alcohol flavour crisps can sometimes taste vinegary (like the M&S Bucks Fizz Crisps I reviewed last year ) but these luckily didn't suffer the same problem.
